Thank you!
This is my opportunity to thank some of the key players in helping create my debut CD,
It was a dream come true to have Joe Puerta agree to produce my album and to watch his creative genius unfolding at every stage of the project. I was looking for someone who could produce 'outside the box', and I knew Joe was it! Not to mention his wonderful and compelling voice, writing ability and bass playing as witnessed by the music of Joe's band Ambrosia. You can find out more about Joe at www.ambrosiaweb.com and www.joepuerta.com. Joe, thank you for everything!
Ian Garratt - Vocal Instructor
I resumed vocal lessons with Ian Garratt (vocal coach to Shania Twain) to prepare for my album, and I have to say that Ian is a wonderful instructor and went the extra distance for me to help make my vocals solid. You can learn more about Ian and his work at www.canadianvocalacademy.com. Ian, thank you for your wonderful support and for believing in me!
Vinny Millevolte - Engineer
Right from the beginning it was clear that Vinny Millevolte had a deep committment to this project and we knew we wanted to have him see the album through to its completion. Vinny is a very talented and sensitive engineer who understood from the get go what this project was about, and helped steer it where it needed to go. You can learn more about Vinny's work at www.axisrecording.com. Vinny, it was so great working with you. Thank you!
Bill Candy - Guitar player, Assistant Arranger
We flew Bill in from Toronto to Milwaukee because we just couldn't do without him. As Joe puts it, Bill Candy is a 'monster guitar player' - which in regular language means he is amazing. And he is a very, very funny guy! Bill helped make many of the songs what they are with his sensitive and inspired playing and approach to the arrangements. Bill is a wonderful singer and song-writer and you can learn more about him at www.billcandy.com. Bill, thank you for everything you contributed!
...And there are many more to thank, namely Sam Steffke for his wonderful work on the keyboards; Brian Dale for his solid and inspired drumming; Wade Fernandez for his talented flute and guitar playing; Mark Paffrath for his beautiful work on mandolin, guitar and violin; Bob Jennings for his great playing of saxophones and accordian; and Ryan Schiedemeyer for his great percussion. ...Also much appreciation to the children vocalists on Allies of the Heart: Kara Erickson, and Silvan and Basil Millevolte. ... And also to the Jewish, Christian and Muslim representative voices on Allies of the Heart: Rabbi Gitlin, Greg Beros, and Abdul Hamid Lachporia. ...And finally to the additional engineers: Jeffro Lackschiede and Kevin Arndt; and to Trevor Sadler mastering engineer.
Heartfelt thanks to all!
